I’m considering taking classes on programming ipad/iphone apps. I’m wondering if I manage to create apps, whether or not this would look good on an application to a prestigious school like Stanford, Berkely, or Caltech.
Btw, I’m a sophomore and I want to go into computer science

I can do that too,
So could many lil kids I know,
There is no harm in mentioning it
But u shouldn’t highlight it as a ‘Super-Major acheivement’
because it is not a big acheivement
They might think ur a noob
My advice is try doing something more ‘Bigger’ ; It would increase ur chance of acceptance
As for ur acceptance,
It would depend on ur other acheivements and grades too

i am getting an IPad and i want to try one of those sentance changing apps, if there are any?

Answer by Brussell I have never heard of anything like that.
The only way that could work is by cutting up what someone says and rearranging it, which means that every word you use would have to be recorded (in other words, you would have to get the person to say all the words you want, record them, and then go through the extensive process of cutting it all up and rearranging it just right, which generally takes a bit of work and ends up sounding like a robot voice, kind of like Chef on his last episode of South Park).
This is rather high level stuff for something as simple as an app on the iPad, but perhaps the iPad can handle it, I’m not sure.
But no, there is no app that will automatically do all that work for you. It’s usually something that has to be done in sound or video editing software.
And as a fair warning: if you DO edit someone’s words and make it sound really bad and post it somewhere, you could potentially be sued for libel.
